Additionally, Dr. Andreas Leupold LL.M. has been named the Best Lawyers' 2013 Munich Information Technology "Lawyer of the Year". The 5th edition of Best Lawyers Germany was excerpted in the Handelsblatt on June 11, 2013. With respect to the Best Lawyers List 2009 the Handelsblatt wrote on May 29, 2009 under the headline Top Economic lawyers – The hour of the lawyers: „Over 150,000 lawyers are registered in Germany – and the market is everything else but transparent. Now the specialist magazine Best Lawyers has determined the top business lawyers in Germany from 41 different legal areas from corporate law via insolvency and labor law to tax law, who have been recommend for inclusion by their peers.“ In the 5th edition of Best Lawyers Germany lawyers were ranked in a total of 60 practice areas.
